The African Alliance for Disaster Research Institutes (AADRI) brings together Africa’s disaster research community to provide an accessible forum through which individuals and groups can engage with disaster research and scholarship. The goal is to bring empirically sound, disaster theory, measures and practices to bear on the real-world problems demanding disaster risk reduction, including the challenges of implementing the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.
AADRI is an independent network managed by voluntary contributions from the African research community and partners.
